Applications to The Leaders in Training program (LT) are now open!
Our LT program offers additional opportunities to high school participants who are interested in further developing their voice, independence, and leadership skills through hands-on programming. If you are interested, follow the link below to begin applying. After the application process, students are then invited to attend Step Up, Stand Out (SUSO) on Wednesday, August 14th 5:00-7:30pm. SUSO is an opportunity for young people who have completed 8th-9th grade to "try out” through a collaborative hands on experience.
Qualifications and process:
Students must be entering 9th or 10th grade to apply- this is a progressive 3-4 year commitment with requirements.
For High School Students to become LTs they MUST apply by August 5th.- they apply with the LT Application Form located HERE.
Once an application is submitted, an invitation to SUSO ( Step Up, Stand Out) will be sent.
Parents are required to attend an information session on August 14th from 7pm-7:30pm.
PEAK Staff have the chance to observe the young people’s leadership skills in action and gauge their commitment and interest in becoming an LT at SUSO.
